Anatomical poster of the radial nerve and its compression points

Hand-illustrated by Axel Devillard, creator of En Chair et en Os - Produced in association with the French-speaking Association of Dynervology, at the request of Dr. Benjamin Ferembach

Anatomy of the radial nerve and its compression zones

Are you looking for an educational and artistic resource to show your patient where the clinical signs they are presenting in relation to the radial nerve may originate? This poster is for you.

The radial nerve can present several compression zones along its path:

• the groove between the medial and lateral heads of the triceps
• the lateral intermuscular septum
• the arcade of Frohse within the supinator

This can cause distinct clinical signs, which you will be able to help your patient understand at a glance.

Every detail was requested by Dr. Benjamin Ferembach in order to make the poster as accurate as possible for the management of dynamic radial nerve compressions.

Who is this chart for?

It is designed primarily for clinicians who see patients who may present with clinical signs of peripheral nerve compression: doctors, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and osteopaths. It also belongs on the desk of a student passionate about nervous system anatomy, or in the training room of a medical and paramedical institute.

If you explain nerve compressions to your patients, this chart will work for you every day.

What your patients do with it

A diagram is worth 1,000 words. Rather than leaving with a vague understanding they won't be able to retain, they leave with a clear image of their own anatomy. Dr. Ferembach actually commissioned me to create a mural presenting all peripheral nerve compressions—and he uses it in every consultation.
